appyTimes does not track you, show ads or sell data. This page lists everything this website processes, and why.

What this website processes

• Visiting: to send you a page, your browser's request, including your IP address, reaches our server at OVHcloud in Strasbourg, France. We keep no access logs of visits and use no analytics.
• Cookies and storage: this website sets no cookies. If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) so the next page uses it. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it.
• Error reporting: when the software fails, a technical report without personal data goes to our own GlitchTip service and is kept for 14 days. Details: Error reporting.
• Writing to us: if you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete them once the conversation no longer needs them.

No advertising, no profiling, no third-party trackers, no social media widgets, and nothing is shared with anyone for marketing.

Legal basis and recipients

Delivering pages securely and reporting errors rely on our legitimate interest in running a working, safe website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Replying to your email relies on the same interest, at your request.

Our hosting provider, OVHcloud, processes data on our behalf in France. Data is not transferred outside the European Union.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, or to receive it in a portable format. Write to hello@appytimes.org; we answer within one month.

You can also complain to the data protection authority of your country.

The person responsible for this processing is the publisher named in the Legal notice.
